Wow! Well what can I say! Working on a shoot was absolutely amazing. I needed to arrange my own shoot to complete my make-up course with Girl Meets Brush. My shoot was a ‘clean beauty’ portrait shoot focusing on capturing beauty and enhancing one feature. I used my own model and got in touch with a photographer that I had used for a bump photo shoot when I was pregnant with my first child. I contacted Stuart Brown, owner of Discovery photography to see if he would assist me with my final piece of work for submission and he was glad to help. I created my first look on my model and then built up the look from there adding as we went through the shoot from natural to editorial make-up. This was a great experience and I learnt so much more about make-up and how it worked on camera. I loved this experience that much that I even arranged a Halloween shoot for myself and husband and again Stuart Brown snapped this for me, but more on that one soon.
